Will it look like lipstick?
No, and that is the point. Lip blushing heals as a soft wash of color, closer to the lip tint you would choose on your best day than to any lipstick. If you want bold, we will tell you honestly that makeup does bold better.
How long does lip blushing last?
Typically two to three years before a refresh, depending on your skin, sun exposure, and habits like smoking or exfoliating acids. It fades softly, never in patches.
Why would I need neutralization first?
If your lips carry cool, dark, or uneven tones, pigment laid straight over them shifts muddy. Neutralization corrects the canvas first, so the color you chose is the color you heal with. We will tell you on the call if this applies to you.
Does it hurt?
Lips are sensitive, so we numb thoroughly and re-numb during the work. Most clients rate it far easier than they expected, and the first day afterward feels like a mild sunburn.
