Amanda is an International Grand Master Permanent Makeup Trainer and a former AAM Board Member, she has personally performed and supervised over 10,000 treatments, and she has trained artists across 100+ countries, so when you train live, you train hand to hand with a grandmaster who still works on real clients every week. I always joke that 95 out of 100 training programs will fail you, and the live room is where we make sure this one does not, because nothing teaches your hands like working on real skin while someone who has done tens of thousands of treatments watches and corrects you in the moment.
Everything in the live course is the Banks Method, taught through the 20-Level Curriculum. You see Amanda place strokes, you feel how the skin responds, and you do it back while she watches your hand position, your depth, and your pressure. The room is small on purpose, because feedback is the whole point, and you cannot get real feedback from the back row of a packed weekend seminar.

Your application and intake
Training starts with an application, not a checkout button. You tell us where you are as an artist and what you want to learn, and the team confirms which live course and which level fits your experience, along with dates and location in Bellevue or Scottsdale.

Foundations on real skin
You begin with the early levels of the 20-Level Curriculum, learning skin theory, sanitation, color theory, and stroke fundamentals, then moving onto real skin as soon as your hand is ready. Amanda watches your hand position, depth, and pressure and corrects you in the moment.

Mapping and face design
You learn to map a brow using symmetry, bone structure, and the ratios of the face, the same approach Amanda uses on her own clients, so the shapes you design suit the face in front of you rather than a template.

Technique by technique
You work through the core techniques in the Banks Method, building from microblading fundamentals toward the powder and combination work in the higher levels. Each technique is practiced until your results heal natural and consistent.

Honest feedback every day
Every day in the room ends with honest feedback on your work. This is the part a weekend class cannot give you. You hear exactly what to keep and what to change while it is fresh, so the correction sticks.
