Why we ask for your photos before we say yes
Brow and color correction at Eastside Microblading & Beauty is the work we do when a client comes to us with prior permanent makeup that did not age the way it should have, and Amanda Banks built this part of the studio on one rule that does not bend, which is that we look at your photos first and we have an honest conversation before anyone books anything. A lot of permanent makeup clinics will tell you that, oh yeah, we can cover that, just come on in, and they will take your money and do the treatment, and you are not going to be happy long-term. That is not how we operate, and I always joke that my ulterior motive in having you send photos first is I need you to be happy forever with us.
So the path is simple. You send photos of your existing brows, we look at them together, and we tell you the truth about what is possible based on where you are at, your history, how deep the old pigment was placed, and how saturated it is. We are the experts that help you navigate what is actually best for you, and we are the friend that is honest.

Correction always begins with photos and an honest review, never a walk-in. Here is exactly how Eastside Microblading & Beauty handles corrective work, step by step.

Submit your photos
Before anything is booked, you send clear photos of your existing brow work in good natural light, front-on and from each side. The studio asks for photos first because Amanda needs to see the old pigment, the shape, the color, and how it has aged before she can tell you the truth about what is possible.

An honest photo review with Amanda
Amanda Banks reviews your photos personally. She reads how deep the old pigment was placed, how saturated it is, what color it has faded to, and whether the shape can be reworked. This is the honest conversation that other clinics skip, and it is the reason clients stay with us for years.

Your candidacy decision
Based on the review, you get one of three honest answers. We can correct over the existing work and you are a good candidate. The old pigment needs saline removal first before any new work goes in. Or a different brow service is the better fit for your skin and your history. We will not promise a result we cannot deliver.

Color and shape plan
If you are a candidate for correction, the artist builds a color and shape plan using symmetry software, your bone structure, and the ratios of your face. Color selection accounts for the old pigment underneath, your skin undertone, and how the corrected result will fade over the years. You approve the plan before any pigment goes in.

The correction session
Topical 4% lidocaine is applied, with no injectables. The artist works the new shape and color over or alongside the existing pigment according to your approved plan. Correction work is detailed and patient, because the old pigment underneath has to be accounted for at every stroke. Most clients rate the discomfort 2 or 3 out of 10.

Healing and assessment
You leave with a take-home healing kit and aftercare walkthrough. Can you correct work done at another studio?+
Yes, and most correction clients come to us after work done somewhere else. The studio does not need to know who did the original work to review it.
