I have to give a major shoutout to Zara, Amanda, and the entire team at Eastside Microblading! I’ve worked with Zara for permanent makeup on my eyebrows, and she has absolutely knocked it out of the park every single time. She approaches everything she does with so much care and intentionality. She really takes the time to listen, understand what you’re looking for, and make sure you feel comfortable and confident throughout the entire experience.

I’ve also had the opportunity to see Zara for multiple cryo body sculpting sessions, and they are such a treat! She is incredibly thorough and makes the whole experience feel relaxing and enjoyable. Zara, Amanda, and the entire team are always wonderful about answering my questions, and you can tell they really care about giving every client an amazing experience.

I LOVE my permanent makeup. Both Zara and Amanda are exceptional tattoo artists. Thanks to Amanda, I have attractive and natural looking brows, and thanks to Zara, I never have to wear eyeliner, and my lips have the shape and definition that I had in my 20’s. And you can’t tell that they are tattoos!

The process itself isn’t pain free but it’s very tolerable. And the healing goes by quickly. I didn’t have to hide in the house while I healed.

I can’t say enough good things about Eastside Microblading\! Although I came here for their **cryo services**, what really made my experience amazing was the people\!

A HUGE shoutout to **Justy and Kimmy**\! 💕 These two are absolutely wonderful\! From day one, they made me feel so welcomed, comfortable, and at ease\. Every session felt more like catching up with friends than going to an appointment\. They’re both so sweet, personable, knowledgeable, and genuinely care about their clients\.

I was quite nervous about getting my lips blushed — first and foremost because I’m quite particular about aesthetics and I wanted it to look natural, and secondly because I wasn’t sure how intense the pain would be. Zara was incredible and I’m beyond thrilled with the outcome. My lips went from looking a little pallid and pale around the edges to rosy, defined and super natural. Zara explained everything in detail, I totally trusted her expertise and recommendation on pigment shade and the studio is very comfortable and clean. And while yes it was very tingly and at a few points a bit more acute, the pain was really not bad, she eased into it and the time passed quickly. The healing process was super easy, it never got so flaky that I felt weird about how it looked. I was curious and skeptical going in because I’m in my late 50’s and honestly asking if could anything help my post menopausal, birthed 4 babies and grew up in diet culture body?
A bit of self care with no bday shaming was in order.
From the first phone call to my final treatment I was greeted, cared for and educated every step of the way. At my consultation I was thankful to see that parking was free in the well lit parking garage below with lots of parking. The facility is bright, clean and welcoming. The communication via text reminders the day before, to the genuine greeting when I arrived was top notch and spa like.
During my consultation I appreciated the free space to ask questions about different cooling  to reduce areas of fat methods I had seen advertised in my area and on socials.
I was glad my technician explained both things currently available on the market and that they use Cryolipolysus (cryo sculpting). My technician did a non invasive but thorough examination of my abdomen area, my area that seems to stay fluffy no matter my weight. She told me the areas that would have good results and areas that would be a bit harder to see results based on the density. The honesty, guidance and education empowered me to ease my skepticism and start the process of coming in every two weeks for cryo body sculpting.
I’ve finished my 10 session package and over the moon with the amazing results n my abdomen and hips areas.

When I decided to get into the beauty business, inspired by my own Microblading experience as a customer, I did a thorough search for potential trainers and schools. I went through plenty of prospective trainers, but it was Amanda and Beauty Angels that stood out to me. Beyond Amanda's obvious winning personality and positive attitude, the details of the Beauty Angels Academy intrigued me. While a lot of Microblading schools and trainers offered a few days of instruction and then left you to sink or swim, only Amanda and Beauty Angels offered 20 levels of curriculum through online training, which can take up to 6 months, in addition to the live training. 

At first I was a bit hesitant because I was impatient to get my business up and running and getting certified in a few days seemed pretty enticing! But the more I researched the Beauty Angels training and the more I researched Amanda on Facebook, Google, and Instagram (my inner spy... or stalker!), I became more and more convinced that she was the right trainer for me. I read every review she's ever gotten in her life (ok... maybe not!) and that, along with the success of her former students, sealed it for me. And I was not disappointed! Once I attended her Microblading course in March, I knew for sure I had made the right decision. Amanda is so calm and thorough in her explanations. She breaks everything down so that you can absorb it. But she's no pushover and is not going to pass you unless you produce good work. For example, for the very first level of the online training, I had to hand-draw a pair of brows. I submitted my first attempt: rejected. I submitted my second attempt: rejected. I took a deep breath, took Amanda's advice from each rejection to heart and finally passed on my third attempt! I have little doubt that a lot of other trainers wouldn't have been so firm in holding their standards but Amanda will draw the best out of you whether you like it or not!

But it wasn't all just criticism. Whenever I submitted work, Amanda would be sure to tell me what I did RIGHT in addition to pointing out where I could do better. It was those bits of praise that helped keep my confidence up when I wasn't sure I could do it. Another great thing about Amanda is that she's always just a text away, as she will respond to any of your questions even on the weekends or when she's on vacation. That's dedication right there!

I ended up passing my online training in June and opened up my own Microblading business soon after. Even after I officially graduated the course, Amanda still made herself available to answer questions and has been very helpful with little tidbits of knowledge, like what ink colors/mixes to use on various clients' skin colors or advice on business procedures (which is all new to me! I've never run a business before!). She is a person with a heart of gold and is very geniune about wanting to help others. I know she could make more money just performing Microblading instead of instructing others but she enjoys giving back and helping others make the journey she has made to the top of the mountain. Honestly Amanda is just overall an amazing human being. I took my microblading/shading online/live course with her and I’m so thankful to have found this academy and also for someone like her to be so close to where I live and be able to learn from the best master trainer! She’s so supportive and motivational! I love learning from her so much that I recommended all my friends that are thinking about taking a microblading course to come to her! I’m also going to be returning for 3 more courses and not going anywhere else! She’s the best at what she does whether it’s microblading people or being a master trainer! I highly recommend the Beauty Angels Advanced Microblading and Shading course from Amanda! My upper strokes were a hot mess before I took the class. She worked with me and gave me great constructive criticism. Now my upper strokes are beautiful. Don’t expect to pass every level with your first submission, listen to the instructions given to you and apply it to future submissions. Amanda is a great instructor and your work will be far superior when you finish compared to when you started.
